C.R.A.F.T 43 - Easter

We at C.R.A.F.T have another fab sponsor and prize this week - I wish I could enter! LOL!

Craft Obsessions
, that terrific craft-supplier, are offering no less than SIX ProMarkers in your own choice of colour! How marvellous is that?

You need to have a good poke around their shop - they have some really craftilicious things and what's more they've just become a stockist for the gorgeous Magnolia stamps! A perfect subject for your ProMarkers! And they have a sale on at the minute too. I'm off over there now to get my copy of Magnolia Ink - on special offer!

All that on offer and we are only asking for an Easter card, which most of you will probably be making anyway! Easy peasy!

So, no excuses - get in there with your bunnies, chicks, eggs and all the rest of the 'spring-y' Easter-type stuff!

Lovely pale pastels, cool blues, lemon yellows, new leaf greens, pale almond-blossom pinks.... oooooh! I'm feeling totally 'springed' with just the words!

Any imagery can be used (provided the niceties of copyright are obseved) and there's loads to choose from!

(I'll add an extra personal prize on my own blog, if I can find a C.R.A.F.T. entry NOT sporting a 'cute' image of any kind (my choice if there's more than one). Any other genre is acceptable but no cartoon animals or characters (even the wonderful Mo Manning's) and it must be stamped and coloured - no 'kit' cards or decoupage! Now THERE is a challenge.....! Look on my blog for details.)

Here are our lovely Design Team demo cards. Once again, they're, hopefully, in alphabetical order.

First of all, can we all thank our lovely Ruby for being a wonderfully inspiring Guest Designer for the last few weeks? She's done a marvellous job with her beautiful creations and we'll miss her input! We wish her very well in whatever she goes on to! Here's Ruby's last lovely offering for C.R.A.F.T.

Thank you Ruby from all the team- you're a lickle sweetie!

Now for the rest of the team.

Andrea

Enola (jnr designer)

Thank you girls for these wonderfully inspiring creations!

Can I just remind peeps to link to the project in your blog, not just your blog? It's a pain to be following up and commenting on 200-0dd entries if we have to scroll all over the place to find them.

Well, that's it for now. Off you go and hunt down your muse because we want to be blown away by your creations!

Hugs,
Ei

Challenge 42 - Nursery Rhymes

This is the first week I've been given the job of writing up the challenge, so please make allowances if it doesn't all work! LOL!

This week we have the lovely theme of 'Nursery Rhymes' which has just got to be one of the most well-loved themes as who doesn't remember their favourite nursery rhyme, whether from their own childhood, their children's or, like some of us, our grandbabies ?

All those fabulous images come flooding back, don't they? Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, Baa Baa Blacksheep and my Ada's very favourite Rock a Bye Baby.
Such luscious images they conjure up as the illustrations from our Nursery Rhyme books are usually so beautiful and nostalgic, changing from generation to generation.

Well, now it's your turn to create something beautiful in tribute to all those great illustrators!

To start us off, our wonderful DT have used an image from our fab sponsor Gina of Your Special Delivery encompassing several nursery rhymes.

It's well worth having a little look on Gina's blog at the digital images on offer - you won't come away empty handed! Gina's own lovely card is at the top of the page. Thanks Gina!
Gina is offering a prize of digital imaging for the winner this week.

Could we all please be kind to our DT and link to the image you are entering, not just your blog?
It takes so much longer to visit and admire your work and leave a comment if we have to scroll all over the place looking for a card that may or may not be entered into our challenge!
Thank you for that!

Now we come to our fab DT - a bunch of ladies who are not only talented crafters but lovely too! It's a treat to work with them all!

Here they all are in, hopefully, alphabetical order:-

Suzi

I'd wish you all good luck but I don't think you'll need it this week! Look forward to seeing all your entries!

Hugs,
Eileen & the DT
